ROMAN FOUNTAINS - St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, Italy

Updated: Dec 6, 2019

People drink water from flowing fountains all over Rome. The water is safe and clean. It’s the same water that ancient Romans drank from the Tiber River. This fountain is just outside of St Peters Basilica, just after returning from the stairs that lead to the view of St. Peter’s Square. There is a plaque that reads: "I saw water flowing out from beneath the threshold of the temple" (Ezekiel 47:1). Instagram: @mscaruso2
